Megyn Kelly dropped her “nice girl” routine and declared all-out war on Jane Fonda after the eighty-year-old actress continued to mock Kelly on live TV. The former Fox News star, who made a huge career move by going over to NBC, has been having a rough time as celebrities refuse to warm up to her new show, and it recently reached the boiling point. Megyn just went ballistic, calling Fonda “Hanoi Jane” during a live TV segment, but that was only the beginning of the real cat fight.
Former fans of Megyn Kelly are cheering today, saying her smackdown of Jane Fonda reminds them of the old days at Fox News before Kelly got too big for her own good. To bring you up to speed, a few weeks ago, Hanoi Jane Fonda appeared on Kelly’s new NBC talk show with Robert Redford.
The leftist actors were there to promote “Our Souls at Night,” a Netflix movie about an elderly couple who find love again. Fonda claims Kelly “offended” her when she asked about plastic surgery during that interview with Redford, even though Hanoi Jane has previously spoken about her facelifts in multiple interviews.
Variety Magazine asked the aging actress over the weekend about the ongoing “cat fight” and if she’d ever interview with the NBC star again, which Jane answered, “No. It wasn’t like I was upset. I was stunned. It was so inappropriate. It showed that she’s not that good an interviewer. But if she comes around and learns her stuff, sure.”
Fonda humiliated Kelly then and continued to humiliate her on other shows, even daring to throw her under the bus on her own network, NBC, as you’ll see in the video below.

Well, that was it for Megyn Kelly. If Hanoi Jane wanted a cat fight, the former Fox News star would give her one. Kelly came back with a total smackdown of Fonda, and yes, she had the guts to remind the nation of Hanoi Jane’s exploits, promoting America’s enemy during the Vietnam War. We agree with her former fans, this was the old Megyn Kelly before she thought she would be the next “Barbara Walters” and before she picked an ill-advised fight with President Donald Trump.
Fox News reports, “On Monday, Kelly said on her show Fonda ‘has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive.’ The ‘Today’ host said Fonda had been invited on her show to ‘to promote a film about aging.’” Then, Kelly laid it all on the line, setting the record straight.
“For years, [Fonda] has spoken openly about her joy in giving a cultural face to older women,” Kelly said. “The truth is, most older women look nothing like Fonda, who is now 80. And if Fonda really wants to have an honest discussion about older women’s cultural face, then her plastic surgery is tough to ignore.”
Kelly then went after Fonda’s spotted past, saying many American veterans still call Fonda “Hanoi Jane” because of her actions during the Vietnam War.
“I have no regrets about that question, nor am I in the market for a lesson from Jane Fonda on what is and is not appropriate. After all, this is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage. Look at her treatment of military during the Vietnam War,” Kelly said.
“She posed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot down our American pilots. She called our P.O.W.s hypocrites and liars and referred to their torture as ‘understandable,’” Kelly continued. “Even she had to apologize years later for that gun picture. But not for the rest of it. By the way, she still says she is not proud of America.”

Wow! Now that was exactly what Americans want to hear. It rings of truth because it is the truth. Kelly lost that edge when she smelled mega-stardom after she made it big at Fox News. She has wallowed around since taking on Donald Trump, twisting herself into this leftist journalist, and it came off really phony. Maybe Megyn should reassess her career again because when she speaks the bold and blatantly honest truth, Americans respond positively and appreciate it.
As for Hanoi Jane, Megyn made her look like an old fool. Variety Magazine asked Fonda what she fears about Trump, and she answered, “The most immediate fear is what’s happening to our planet because that’s not reversible and it’s very dire. Secondly, I fear that our democracy is being taken from us. However, the good part is, as Jerry Brown recently said, ‘He’s totally negative energy.’”
No, Hanoi Jane and Moonbeam Brown are “totally negative” beings who hate America and spew ridiculous propaganda as truth. That’s why no one watches her movies or cares about her multiple facelifts. Fonda is an elderly commie actress who just got her butt whipped on live TV. Now, a new generation of Americans knows the truth behind her traitorous nickname “Hanoi Jane.”
